Tonio is a shy bookseller who often has his head in the clouds. He is secretly in love with a waitress called Julia and wants to sing a song for her at the forthcoming 'Stella Radio' newcomer festival together with his friend Schnitzel. At the same time, both Schnitzel's arch-enemies 'Illectronic Rock' and Julia's former sweetheart Raphael appear on the scene. Tonio is suddenly in the spotlight and has rivals he did not even know existed until a few days ago.
