Matches is a film which visualizes small moments in the lives of five characters of varying ages. The unusual pairing of two characters on a road trip intersects with a family searching for unity and joy. Each character, overcoming a loss of some kind, make choices as they reevaluate their views on family, identity, and independence. Lighthearted and poignant, Matches mixes documentary-like realism with traditional narrative fiction.
