An arrogant young man goes to a local hairdresser. Brandishing his copy of James Joyce’s Ulysses, he sneers at the friendly banter that goes on around him. When the hairdresser tries to make small talk with him, he responds by cruelly cutting her down, explaining that he’s too smart to take part in that type of conversation. The hairdresser considers her response carefully… and shows the young man just how wrong his preconceptions about people’s so-called ‘intelligence’ can be!
